I was under the impression that Black Canary would not appear until the end of Arrow's second season, but I guess I had her confused with The Flash.
According to an article on Bleeding Cool, Black Canary will appear in tonight's season 2 premier episode. The article also discusses the possibility that a version of The Birds of Prey could appear on the show, but a lot of that depends on the availability of the woman who played Huntress in season 1.
