I don't even remember what this storyline is about, and since there won't be a Birds of Prey issue this month, it'll be an even longer time before we get back into it.  And then the November issue is a Batman: Zero Year tie-in.  Ugh… I think Villains Month is going to cost BoP what few readers are holding on.  I predict a new creative team or a cancelation notice by February.

  1. Do you really think the book will be axed? Maybe so - as much as I love BoP, this new version just hasn't 'hit it' for me, something just dosent quite jel.
Might be best for another reboot.

  2. It's selling below 20,000 and it has no presence during Villains Month--not even tangentially because the series hasn't developed any rogues of its own. It might cling to life because of Batgirl's involvement for a little while, but I will be truly shocked if this book survives 2014 without a big time creative change coming onboard to boost its status.

  3. This incarnation of Birds of Prey has been a catastrophe! Black Canary has been the biggest victim because she's headlining. I say cancel and give Canary her own book.

  4. I would love that if the solo series was treated differently/better than BoP has been.
